Matthew Forrer

Board Member

A longtime Berks County resident, Matt has been constructing buildings in the area for more than 18 years. Throughout his career, he has worked on several landmark structures in the City of Reading, including FirstEnergy Stadium, Berks County Community Foundation, and Berks Nature's The Nature Place, which is a LEED Gold-certified building right here in the 18th Ward. He also serves as a member of the Shillington Planning Commission. Under Matt's leadership, Burkey's Custom Services division has done several projects with the 18th Wonder Improvement Association, including the fabrication and installation of two ADA-compliant garden planters at Oakbrook Homes and new bleachers at E.J. Dives playground. In his free time, Matt enjoys a good game of golf and spending time with his family. He is actively involved in his kids' sports and enjoys watching movies with them.
